Faux Face Models Ltd ("we” or “us") place great importance and are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.  Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.


1. WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the Website.

This Privacy Policy only applies to data collected on the Website, and does not apply to websites of affiliated companies. We reserve the right to modify the Privacy Policy at any time without notice.

Any changes to our Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on the Website and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the Privacy Policy for any updates and/or changes to the Privacy Policy.

The information you provide to us will be held on our secured servers and may be accessed by or given to our staff, companies within our group or other third parties who may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). 1. We collect personal information provided to us directly by you, such as when you apply to become a model; place and authenticate a booking; e-mail us; or request information from us. We may also use your information when you report a problem, complete surveys and enter competitions, make transactions, details from your visits to our site and the resources that you access.

2. We collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.  For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general Internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. 

You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our site. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you log on to our site.  Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance their experience on our Website.


3. USES MADE OF THE INFORMATION

We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group of companies, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, (as defined in 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006)

We may also pass aggregate information on the usage of the Website to third parties but this will not include information that can be used to identify you.

If Faux Face Models Ltd or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.

We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes.  You can exercise your right at any time by contacting us.


5. SECURITY & DATA RETENTION

We endeavour to protect personal information under our control in order to prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration of your information.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will take reasonable steps to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

The Website may contain links to other websites that are owned and operated by third parties. 7. PRIVACY OF CHILDREN

The Website is not designed for, or directed to children. As such, we do not intend to collect and will not knowingly collect any personal information from children below the age of 16 without parental consent. If you are under 16, you must ask your parent or guardian before you send any information to us or ask us to e-mail anything to you. By sending us any information or asking us to send you information you are confirming that you have received the informed consent of your parent or guardian.


8. ACCESS TO INFORMATION

The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.  If you believe that any of the data we hold about you or your child has changed or is incorrect, please ask us to change or update such data by contacting, the Privacy Policy Manager at info@faux-face.com
